Annual Awards to
Outstanding Psychiatric Residents at Leading Medical Schools
For more than thirty years, the Laughlin
Foundation has honored outstanding residents in psychiatric training

their university. During the 2005-2006 academic year, the dollar
amount of the award was $1,000, and it was accompanied by a certificate
that was given to the recipient at their graduation ceremony. Often
the cash award is divided between two or more recipients. The following
institutions actively participate in this Program:

Support for the Frederick,
Maryland Business Roundtable
Each month,
the Foundation hosts an
interactive Business Roundtable discussion from 4:00 to 5:30 PM in the Trust Conference Room of the C. Burr Artz Public Library at
110 East
Patrick Street in Frederick. The session is free and open to the public;
however, in order to keep the discussion interactive, space is limited to
17 participants, and therefore reservations are required. The
Business Roundtables are “interactive exchanges” among senior business
executives, based upon the principle that adult business learning is often
accomplished best through the exchange of information among well-informed
peers.
